European Commission ban on grain imports from Ukraine will take effect in May - media

The decision of the European Commission to ban the import of wheat, corn, rapeseed and sunflower from Ukraine will take effect in May.

The Polish edition RMF24 writes about this, citing sources in Brussels.

By May 2, Poland must lift the ban on the import of dozens of goods from Ukraine. The European Commission is already working on a draft EU regulation banning imports of wheat, corn, rapeseed and sunflower seeds to Ukraine's five neighboring countries. It should come into force on May 2.
